Toronja steps up to deliver his club ready debut EP for the first Club Unique release of 2022. Alongside fellow Ōtautahi hardware wizard Rosetown, Toronja fronts the collaborative dance party Kind of Green. On his debut EP, the explorative producer showcases a diverse range of influences while always allowing his own unique & refined musicality to shine through.

Title track ‘Pace Raider’ is a stealthy affair. Breakbeat chops, rave stabs & menacing reese bass growls weave around a chunky kick and haunting music box melody. Confronting synth leads set the scene on ‘Broke Boys’, before a sassy vocal demands the floor on this tongue-in-cheek face melter.

‘Amended’ ups the stakes as scattered perc loops and a relentless industrial kick attempt to outrun ominous atmospherics and grinding synth howls. Finally, Toronja welcomes us into the safe haven of an intimate afters gathering as he performs his introspective closing number, ‘Becide’.
